Hut No. 77 sits on the promenade at Avon Beach, Mudeford, looking straight out across Christchurch Bay to the Needles. It's ours, we look after it properly, and it's yours to hire by the day or the week, all year round.
The hut
Everything is set up so you can arrive with a bag and the papers and be settled within five minutes. The kettle, the gas, the deckchairs and the windbreak are all here and all included. The Avon Beach café is a hundred yards along the promenade for coffee and ice creams, and the Noisy Lobster is next door when you can't face packing a picnic.
The beach itself is one of Christchurch's quiet successes: gently shelving, cleaned daily through the season, lifeguarded in summer, with sailing club dinghies drifting past and the Isle of Wight on the horizon.
Availability & booking
Booking is by request. Pick your dates, tell us who's coming, and we'll come back to you by email, almost always the same day, with confirmation and simple payment details. Nothing is charged online.
No payment is taken online.
By sending a request you're not committing to anything. We'll hold the dates while we reply, and payment is only arranged once you've confirmed.
Rates
Every hire includes gas, crockery, deckchairs and the windbreak. Any block of seven days is automatically charged at the weekly rate. Payment is by bank transfer once we've confirmed your dates; cancel more than 14 days out for a full refund.

Avon Beach sits at the eastern edge of Christchurch, between Mudeford Quay and Highcliffe. Hut 77 is on the promenade itself, a level walk from the car park with no steps.
Parking. The Avon Beach car park is directly behind the huts. It's pay and display and fills by mid-morning on fine weekends, so arrive early or use Steamer Point, a ten minute walk east.
By bus. Christchurch to Mudeford services stop on Bure Lane, five minutes' walk away.
